8. Perishable Goods Policy
Due to the nature of frozen and perishable products:
- Products should be unpacked immediately upon delivery.
- Frozen products should be placed into a freezer as soon as possible.
- Customers must inspect deliveries promptly.
Some frozen products may arrive partially thawed but still cold and suitable for refreezing.
If products arrive damaged or unsuitable, customers must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
Photographic evidence may be required.
9. Non-Perishable Goods Returns
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers may have the right to return certain unused non-perishable goods within 14 days of receipt.
Returned items must:
- Be unused.
- Be in original packaging.
- Be in a resalable condition.
Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless goods are faulty.
10. Perishable Goods Returns
For food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Raw dog food
- Frozen products
- Chilled products
- Opened consumable items
unless:
- The product is faulty.
- The product is damaged upon arrival.
- An incorrect item has been supplied.
This policy complies with UK consumer legislation regarding perishable goods.
11. Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Refund times may vary depending on your payment provider.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds where products have been improperly stored after delivery.
12. Product Storage Responsibility
Once delivered, responsibility for proper storage passes to the customer.
Customers should:
- Follow all storage instructions.
- Maintain suitable freezer or storage conditions.
- Use products within recommended timeframes.
We cannot be responsible for products damaged through incorrect storage after delivery.
13. Raw Feeding Disclaimer
Raw feeding is a personal choice.
While we provide guidance and information, customers are responsible for determining whether products are suitable for their individual pet.
Dogs with medical conditions should be assessed by a qualified veterinary professional before dietary changes are made.
We accept no liability for health issues arising from unsuitable feeding practices.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Doncaster Raw Foods LTD shall not be liable for:
- Indirect losses.
- Consequential losses.
- Loss of profits.
- Delayed deliveries outside our control.
- Customer misuse of products.
